Acetic-acid dressings cleared Pseudomonas from chronic infected wounds faster than saline dressings.

What this does not tell us

Medical infected wounds, not healthy-skin cosmetic use. Six months describes study conduct, not individual treatment duration. No systemic antibiotics used.
