The assessment limits anthraquinones in aloe cosmetic ingredients to 50 ppm; it distinguishes latex compounds from inner-leaf gel materials.
What this does not tell us
Safety assessment, not exact leaf-juice clinical efficacy. Historical use concentrations and preparation quality define scope; botanical gel, sterol, juice-powder and other-species results cannot be transferred.
