A closer look

What the research shows

Human research on a combination

A 50-person assessor-blinded trial found greater foot hydration and improvement in dryness with the combined cream than a glycerol-based emollient after 32 weeks.

What this does not tell us

Arginine cannot be credited separately from urea, carnosine or other formulation differences. Participants had diabetes and severe foot xerosis; trial was not double-blind.
