Antioxidant
Limits oxidation, including deterioration of formulation ingredients. This label alone does not show a clinical antioxidant effect in skin.

Combined regimens increased hydration and dermal echogenicity, with pigmentation and epidermal-renewal changes.

What this does not tell us

Sixty women aged 20 to 30; sunscreen and rice peptides were included. Contribution of ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate alone and duration are not established by the abstract.
