What the research shows

Safety assessment

Panel judged the assessed skin and connective-tissue-derived protein and peptide ingredients safe under described cosmetic-use practices and concentrations.

What this does not tell us

Group safety assessment with read-across and animal-derived source/impurity considerations. Local papers measuring endogenous elastin do not test applied elastin. Safety does not establish collagen or elastin stimulation efficacy.

Research review checked Oct 1, 2026

Bounded review of local candidates, exact-name indexed primary journal/PubMed safety and topical searches; not a systematic review.
