EGCG-containing cream reduced sebum from baseline and showed greater anti-sebum effect than L-carnitine cream.

What this does not tell us

No inactive-vehicle arm stated. Shared moisturizer may contribute hydration. EGCG is isolated compound, not interchangeable green-tea extract.
