L-ergothioneine reduced laboratory peroxide/free-radical endpoints and showed antioxidant activity in cultured fibroblasts.

What this does not tell us

Laboratory oxidation models and cell cultures. No human wrinkle, pigmentation or topical formulation efficacy is established.
