Human oral research
The multi-ingredient supplement improved photoaging scores and selected skin hydration, sebum and tonicity measures versus placebo.
What this does not tell us
30 in the randomized intervention, 4 weeks with assessment 2 weeks afterward. Pycnogenol, collagen, coenzyme Q10, hyaluronic acid and chondroitin were co-actives. Oral combination does not isolate glucosamine sulfate or establish topical efficacy. The separate observational 60-person cohort is not added to the trial sample.
