What the research shows

Human topical treatment study

Hydrogen peroxide cleared or nearly cleared more lesions than vehicle; complete clearance of all four lesions remained uncommon. Local reactions were mostly mild and resolved by day 106.

What this does not tell us

High-concentration medical lesion treatment under a specific application protocol. It does not establish benefits or tolerance for everyday peroxide cosmetics; the optimal number of sessions was not studied.
