What the research shows

Human oral research

Oral yeast mannan improved reported skin dryness and altered selected intestinal microbiota measures compared with placebo.

What this does not tell us

A yeast-derived mannan preparation, not all mannan polymers or topical formulas. Skin dryness was subjective; microbiome findings are not direct cosmetic efficacy.
