Treatment increased skin NAD, epidermal differentiation measures and reduced water loss relative to placebo in the reported studies.

What this does not tell us

Sample, dose, duration, randomization and funding are not supplied in the abstract. Photodamaged skin and laboratory/biophysical endpoints do not establish prevention of skin cancer or all forms of niacin.
