The phytic combination reduced melasma severity from baseline, but glycolic and salicylic-mandelic peels produced greater reductions.
What this does not tell us
Combination peel of unspecified full composition in the abstract; all groups were primed with hydroquinone and tretinoin. Cannot isolate phytic acid.
