What the research shows

Human research on a combination

The combined regimen reduced hair shedding and water loss and increased hair count relative to placebo shampoo over 24 weeks.

What this does not tell us

Six functional ingredients and two treatment products prevent attribution to piroctone olamine alone. Participants had normal scalps and self-perceived thinning; this is not a trial of all hair-loss disorders.
