The combined formulation reduced induced pigmentation in 18 participants and melanin in a reconstructed-skin model.
What this does not tell us
Seven active ingredients; human comparator was 4% hydroquinone and no vehicle was described. Cannot isolate tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate or transfer results to other products.
