Efficacy of cream-based novel formulations of hyaluronic acid of different molecular weights in anti-wrinkle treatment.

What was studied

Sixty-day periocular trial in 76 women aged 30 to 60: 0.1% hyaluronan creams with five molecular weights versus vehicle at the opposite eye. Hydration and elasticity improved for all formulations; wrinkle-depth differences were significant only at 50 and 130 kDa. Blinding is not specified in the abstract.
