What was studied

Single-blind pilot in 11 women: 3% caffeine plus 1% vitamin K in an emu-oil pad on the right eye area, a water pad on the left, one hour nightly for four weeks. Participants were selected randomly, but treatment sides were fixed. Hydration, elasticity and pigmentation were measured. The study cannot separate caffeine from the oil, vitamin K or emulsion.
