- Citral
Citral was individually patch-tested in a study of 367 patients already positive to fragrance mix II. Results in this selected group do not give the allergy rate among all cosmetic users.

- Linalyl Acetate
Patch tests with oxidised linalyl acetate found positive reactions in 2.2% of 1,717 referred dermatitis patients. The oxidised preparation and selected population matter; this is not a general-population allergy rate.
