Vice Reversa Micro Needling Pimple Patches are innovative skincare patches that target pimples in their development stage, helping to neutralise and flatten them before they fully develop. Suitable for all acne-prone skin types. Can be used on the face or body and suitable for all ages. 8 patches come in a box. Key ingredients include Salicylic acid, a beta-hydroxy acid that penetrates into sebum-filled pores, exfoliating the pore lining and loosening sticky keratin. Green Tea Extract and Madecassoside are well-studied antioxidants with anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. They also promote wound healing. Hyaluronic Acid is a moisturising ingredient found naturally the skin, it attracts and holds onto water, increasing hydration and elasticity for plumper skin. Dissolvable microneedles are affixed to a Medical-Grade Hydrocolloid patch (biodegradable) which functions in two ways: it covers the area to maximize ingredient absorption whilst protecting the area from outside contaminants and bacteria. Each patch contains 360 microscopic pyramid-shaped needles made from crystallised active ingredients. Once applied, the microneedles begin to dissolve, allowing for maximum absorption. If the pimple life-cycle is halted, it also prevents scarring, another benefit and common post-acne frustration. After application, most pimples will shrink in size and swelling after 6 hours, but in some cases, it might take a little longer. Stubborn cases may require a follow-up application. Results will vary from pimple to pimple. Patches will work best on smaller pimples that have yet to form a head. Very deep cystic acne is generally harder to treat topically.
