Fibroblast and keratinocyte gene expression following exposure to extracts of neem plant (Azadirachta indica).

What was studied

Cultured human fibroblasts and keratinocytes were exposed to 0.001% or 0.01% extract of Azadirachta indica leaves for up to 24 hours. These were cell experiments, not treatment of human volunteers. Melia azadirachta is the catalogue name for neem, not Melia azedarach.
