pHformula SOS Repair Cream, with its ultra-moisturising texture, helps protect the skin against moisture loss, providing hydration and comfort to extremely dry skin. It repairs and soothes, supporting the skin when the skin barrier is compromised and vulnerable. Suitable for dry skin. Key ingredients include Shea Butter has rich emollient benefits and helps to maintain moisture in the skin. Panthenol, a humectant with anti-inflammatory properties, strengthens the skin barrier function, enhances wound healing and reduces signs of irritation and erythema. Rooibos Extract contains 2 particularly potent flavonoids (Quercetin & Luteolin) and polyphenol antioxidants that are potent free radical scavengers. Fragrance-free. A compromised skin barrier leads to several skin concerns such as breakouts, dehydration, sensitisation, and premature ageing. Harsh ingredients and aesthetic procedures can temporarily disrupt the barrier function, and a product such as this not only helps to rebuild the barrier if it is compromised, but if used daily, it can prevent many of these conditions. I would also recommend it when travelling, as air travel and different climates can affect the epidermal barrier.
