Serra Restore Cream is an enhanced lipid-restoring cream for problematic dry skin that is in need of barrier restoration and requires superior barrier repair, helping to balance the acid mantle with its long-term soothing and calming effect. Suitable for dry, compromised skin. Key ingredients include patented Ceramide-P which creates a multiple lipid layered structure similar to normal human skin. Instead of creating a single layer of lipids on the surface of your skin like conventional moisturisers, Serra mimics the human skin barrier, essentially replacing what is missing and eliminating the root cause of dry skin. Shea butter is an excellent moisturiser with its emollient properties. Panthenol reduces irritation and increases skin moisture. Beta Glucan soothes and moisturises skin and it has wound-healing properties, whilst essential fatty acids optimize overall lipid balance. Fragrance-free. Dr Webster’s Recommendation: Lamelle Serra Restore Cream is defined by its ability to mimic naturally occurring lipids in the stratum corneum (outer layer of the skin), helping to normalise the skin barrier function in those with dry, sensitive, or compromised skin. This cream provides additional hydration especially when there are climate changes due to travelling or during different seasons of the year. Those with inherently dry skin often need additional moisture and this is a valuable add-on product. Clinical studies in both adults and children have shown significant improvements in signs and symptoms of Atopic Dermatitis when Ceramide-P has been used regularly. If your skin is very dry, sensitive, and inflamed you can first start with the Lamelle Serra Soothing Cream and once the sensitivity and inflammation have improved, you can then change to this product.
