Obagi Nu-Derm Clear Fx is a lightweight, hydroquinone-free treatment that treats superficial epidermal hyperpigmentation helping to fade dark marks and create a more even skin tone. It also helps post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation left behind after a blemish. Suitable for all non-sensitive skin types with pigmentation. Key ingredients include Arbutin which is a natural form of hydroquinone that inhibits tyrosinase production, an enzyme responsible for dark marks. Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) is an antioxidant that helps protect the skin from free radical damage and L-Ascorbic Acid brightens the skin, helps to reduce inflammation and boosts collagen production. Fragrance-free. Dr Webster’s Recommendation: Obagi Nu-Derm Clear Fx a non-prescription formula is gentle and clarifies and brightens the skin at an epidermal level. For the best results, you should use it together with the Exfoderm or Exfoderm Forte (depending on your skin type) and Blend Fx. Always use a high-factor, broad-spectrum sunscreen every day and this is especially important if you have pigmentation. Note: After a week of using the Nu-Derm regimen there will be some lifting of the deep dark pigment and your skin may be darker in the affected areas but this will reduce within a week or two as the treatment takes effect.
