pHformula MD MELA Active Recovery is an advanced multi-corrective treatment that helps to improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation by providing superior skin-brightening benefits. Suitable for all skin types with dark marks or pigmentation. It is not suitable for sensitive or rosacea-prone skin. Key ingredients include Mandelic Acid, Arbutin, and Niacinamide a potent blend of ingredients that inhibit the tyrosinase process and block melanin production that causes pigmentary changes in the skin, together with Glutathione and Phytic Acids which are also antioxidants. Retinol regulates cellular differentiation and stimulates the synthesis of collagen and elastin. Salicylic Acid, an effective keratolytic, helps to stimulate cellular turnover and gives the skin a healthy glow. Argan Plant Stem Cells improve the regenerative capacity of dermal stem cells, thereby achieving deep-seated rejuvenation of the skin. PH-DVC™ is a superior delivery complex used in pHformula formulations to enhance the penetration of active ingredients. Non-comedogenic. Fragrance-free. It is fast-absorbing, delivering multiple ingredients into the skin via a sophisticated delivery system. It helps to block various stages of pigmentary changes in the skin and is also a great product to use after skin rejuvenation treatments to speed up recovery and avoid hyperpigmentation. It can be used on its own or under a neutral cream such as pHformula POST Recovery Cream depending on your skin hydration requirements. Caution: This product contains Mandelic Acid which is derived from bitter almonds and should be avoided if you have a nut allergy.
